God love VisionTV

Okay, so before you go thinking that I’ve gone and found religion (not that there’s anything wrong with that), I should point out that I’m still the recovering Catholic my family and friends know and love, and VisionTV is not all about religion.

For me, it’s about access to some delightful British t.v. series, like the ones I’ve been parking myself in front of on Wednesday nights: Absolutely Fabulous (aka Ab Fab – Vision has just started airing season 5), Reggie Perrin, and Downtown Abbey and Upstairs Downstairs (the redux version) – the latter replacing DT in the 9 p.m. time slot after series one was wrapped.

So much fun. I especially love Reggie Perrin’s fantasy sequences, during which he makes out with a lovely co-worker or wreaks revenge on his ass-head boss. The current scheduling on Vision has this series near the end of season 2. Here’s a fun compilation clip of seasons one and two – thanks to MClunesfan123 for posting on YouTube:

Check out these, as well as other great Brit shows and general programming (including series, docs and current events), on the VisionTV site: http://www.visiontv.ca/
