Okay. Wow. So this has got to be the vaguest headline ever for life with more cowbell – now with 95% more blue.

Again, please bear with me and all will be revealed. I mean, a girl has to retain some sense of mystery, but the whole enigma wrapped in a puzzle surrounded by a head-scratcher can get a bit irritating after a while.

I really need to be more careful when I use phrases like “final push.” Especially when I’m referring to a theatre set. Yes, Ed and I will be back at the Papermill Theatre tonight doing final touches on the Willow Quartet set. Not complaining – just saying. Things are never as finished as you think they are. I will, however, point out – and Ed mocked me for this earlier – that one thing I’ve discovered to be true again and again is that burnt umber is the fat lady of scenic painting. It ain’t finished till the burnt umber is applied. Hence, my (mistaken) belief that we were done on Monday night except for a bit more green on the floor and some black on the new flat braces. Anyway… At least this means I’ll be able to score another Blizzard at the DQ before I head on down that Pottery Road hill (which has a very impressive wide and spankin’ new asphalt sidewalk).

As for the “grab” – did you see this week’s ep. of Lost Girl “Death Didn’t Become Him”? If you haven’t, it airs a few more times on Showcase this week (check your listings) and it’s also available online at: http://www.showcase.ca/lostgirl/episodes.aspx

SPOILERS AHEAD: This show was attention-grabbing on a number of levels. First, with Hale taking off his shirt, revealing abs that you could grate cheese on (and stunning the hell out of Kenzi on the process). Someone’s been working out – I’m talkin’ to you, K.C. Collins! Then Bo went all Hulk when the Fae villain of the week (the Lich, played with evil panache by actor Salvatore Antonio – and possibly my favourite villain yet) was about to kill Lauren. You do not want to make her mad. In addition to Bo saving the day, there was also an eerie, foreshadowy element to that moment, which you’ll just have to check out for yourself. We also learn more about what ails Lauren’s girlfriend-in-a-coma Nadia. On a somewhat lighter – and decidedly sexier – note, Lauren once again shows us her mad skills at the grab ‘n kiss. Shout out to FaeUnderground for posting this LG moment on YouTube:

See what I mean? Awesome grab ‘n kiss, Lauren. Freakin’ awesome. This moment also had somewhat of an eerie foreshadowing element, though. Hmm… Kudos to actor Zoie Palmer for another stand-out performance as Dr. Lauren Lewis.

So that’s it for today, chickens. I think I may have to crawl under the desk and go to sleep soon – this week’s been big on the workin’ and not so much on the sleepin’. Naw – I’ll review that grab ‘n kiss video instead. Maybe a few times.
