R.I.P. Harry Morgan

Actor Harry Morgan, who played Col. Sherman Potter on M*A*S*H, died yesterday. Col. Potter was an eclectic combo of father figure and wry wit, a man of sharp horse sense – a bit of a curmudgeon too – and one of my favourite characters on the show. Morgan was 96 and is remembered fondly by family, friends, colleagues and fans.
