Two things I love a whole lot: theatre and our little furry friends.

Well, guess what? Folks in the Toronto area can lend their support to both, with two upcoming fundraising events:

Rarely Pure Theatre’s Dirty Bingo Night: Duke of York pub: Wed, Aug 29 from 8:30 – 11:00 p.m. $15  unlimited bingo with awesome prizes! Support Rarely Pure Theatre as they prepare to mount their first production Until Our Paths Cross Again, inspired by the story of Nicola Goddard, the first female Canadian combat soldier killed in combat.

Little Creatures for Little Creatures (in support of PAWS): El Mocambo on Sat, Sept 8 – doors open at 8:00 p.m. – an evening of music with Tom Wilson, Noah’s Arkweld, Angela Saini, Sarahbelle and Little Creatures. Tix are $10 at the door – see the Little Creatures site (below) for more details and advance tix.
