Alumnae Theatre presents: Public Enemy

Alumnae Theatre presents: Public Enemy

Alumnae Theatre opens their 2025-26 season with Public Enemy by Olivier Choinière, transadapted by Bobby Theodore and directed by Marcio Beauclair – running from September 24 to October 5, 2025 in the Mainstage Theatre.

Total society collapse – served with dinner

Public Enemy is a blistering, rowdy take on the family drama. Three generations (and one combative squirrel) gather over dinner to argue about current events, family finances and culture, with everyone looking to blame someone else for society’s ills in this satirical examination of how judgment can both divide and unite people.

Winner of the prix Michel-Tremblay in 2015, Public Enemy is a family dinner you won’t soon forget.

Written by Olivier Choinière, transadapted by Bobby Theodore, and produced for Alumnae by Robyn Shepherd and directed by Marcio Beauclair, the cast features Janis Boase, Kimberley Ann Croscup, Valérie Carrier, Trevor Cartlidge, Audrey Keating, Jordan Kewell and William MacGregor. Check back on the show page for bios.
