Laura Piccinin’s big solo adventure in GO

Wednesday, October 15 to Sunday, October 19, 2025: Laura Piccinin, winner of Just for Laughs’ Outstanding English Comedy Award — and creator of the critically acclaimed Queer stand-up comedy LESBIHONEST — brings GO, a new and exciting piece of storytelling theatre, to Theatre Passe Muraille.

The story of a 336 km hike no one asked her to go on

Much like wanting to go on a beach vacation and accidentally ending up on Survivor, the East Coast Trail of Newfoundland proved to be beyond the expectations, and capabilities, of this first-time thru-hiker.

This quippy, energetic show bounces from past to future to present, as the mosaic of Piccinin’s life is bound together in full technicolour before the audience. While on her journey of trying not to get killed in the woods, she recounts the stories of her life, and the decisions she’s made in the face of danger (real or perceived) along the way – reflecting on fear, bravery and the stupefying concept of being out in the world as “WOMAN ALONE”.

This sentimental and hilarious show reminds audiences to get out of their own way, and GO do that thing that they really, really, want to do.

“Piccinin knows exactly what to do with 90 minutes.” — Edmonton Journal

“Laura Piccinin is irresistible.” — Kelly Bedard, My Entertainment World

“A masterful comic.” — Aisling Murphy, Toronto Star

“Gut-bustlingly clever.” — Matt Olsen, PodSask

About Laura Piccinin

Laura was born to tell stories. Whether as a dancer/aerialist with Tokyo Disney; a playwright and performer for the new Canadian musicals, Every Silver Lining and Apothecary; as a comédienne in Footloose with Just for Laughs; or with her solo shows, LESBIHONEST, GO and The Suicide Key, Laura’s unstoppable passion in life lies in telling people all sorts of eccentric stories — whether they want to hear them or not. She has many passions in life, and plans on pursuing each and every one of them. She considers herself to be extraordinarily lucky to have the ability to pursue a life and career in such a meaningful and infinitely interesting industry, and she could not imagine living happily any other way.
