Hey kids – reminder that Alumnae Theatre Company’s production of Sylvia opens up in the studio tonight and I’ll be there. Check out their website for the scoop on that: http://www.alumnaetheatre.com/1112sylvia.html

Tomorrow, my theatre adventures continue – back at Alumnae again, this time at the main stage – for the Toronto Irish Players’ presentation of Shining City. Their website is temporarily down, so check that out on their Facebook page here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Toronto-Irish-Players/172996812712827?sk=info#!/pages/Toronto-Irish-Players/172996812712827?sk=wall

And last, but certainly not least, look out for an indie co-op production of Joan Burrow’s new play Willow Quartet, opening next Friday, November 18 at the Papermill Theatre at Todmorden Mills (67 Pottery Road, Toronto). This production runs until December 3, with performances Tuesday through Saturday @ 8 p.m. (tix $25) and Sunday @ 2 p.m. (PWYC). For reservations, please call: 647-342-7454 or go online at: www.secureaseat.com

Speaking of Willow Quartet, before I head over to Alumnae to see the TIP show tomorrow night, I’ll be back at Mike’s in Rosedale with Ed all afternoon, doing some more work on the set; I’ll also be joining the gang on Monday night, their first day in the theatre, to do some final painting.

Enjoy your Friday/weekend all – I’ll be back on Sunday with the word on Sylvia and Shining City.

Toronto Irish Players have a new web site address, replacing the old torontoirishplayers.org, due to a domain issue. It’s now http://www.torontoirishplayers.com. That’s right, it’s just replaced org with com. The ticket booking is still available at https://www.ticketturtle.com/index.php?ticketing=tip.
