Hey all – I’m continuing a hiatus of sorts as I take some time to get ready to move (now that I’ve found an apartment to move to), as well as get over yet another pesky head cold, but wanted to shout out some upcoming music and theatre fests:
SoulOTheatre Festival presented by Tracey Erin Smith and SoulOTheatre opens tonight and runs May 23-26 at the Red Sandcastle Theatre space (922 Queen St. East, Toronto). See the link for full program details – the festival includes solo show performances, workshops and a Lady in the Window!
Tin Pan North Songwriters Festival also starts tonight, running May 23-25 at various venues around Toronto. Shout out to my friend singer/songwriter Shaun Devlin, who’s playing a set at Black Swan (154 Danforth Ave., Toronto) tonight at 9:30 p.m.
InspiraTO Festival of 10-minute plays runs May 30 – June 8 on the Alumnae Theatre mainstage (70 Berkeley St., Toronto), as well as some site-specific locations.
