Check out this interview with Patrick Jenkins as he talks about his art and animation work, and being a Canadian artist. Includes some great clips from some of his glass painting animation films.

Back in July 2012 I sat down with Grayden Laing of Canadian Animation Blog, to do a video interview about my animation. It’s now up for viewing. (see below)

During this 32 minute interview I talk about my paint on glass animation, starting in 2006 with my film “Labyrinth” and continuing on until my recent film “Sorceress”. It was nice to sit down and chat about my approach to animation, and reflect on the past 7 years of animation.

I don’t often get a chance to discuss my work and I would like to thank Grayden for giving me this opportunity. I love talking about my work.

There’s also a bonus video of me demonstrating paint on glass in Grayden’s kitchen, like a cooking show, that we shot after the interview. It’s  at: http://www.canadiananimationblog.com/2013/02/interviews-indie-animator-patrick.html

I’m Cate (she/her)
